Makayla
Mr. Splash Car Wash is a locally owned company that is locally supported by our customers and locally operated by our staff. We have 6 locations from Beloit to Janesville, Madison and Sun Prairie. Each of our locations have an amazing group of staff that are the front line for our customers and their experiences.
These positions range from attendants, leads, assistant managers and our store managers. Each member of staff plays a vital role in what you see and experience.

Please meet Makayla, Kayla or KK...

Makayla started with the company in June 2021 as a part-time concierge. She was responsible for meeting and greeting our customers at the pay stations and has been with the company ever since. Since then Makayla has moved from that position to our CSA/attendant position and is currently working towards additional positions and responsibilities within the company. Below are just some questions to highlight who Makayla is and to celebrate her as a valuable member of the Mr. Splash Car Wash team.
What are your career goals?
I would love to become a manager here and eventually own my own business, maybe even a car wash! What I really want to do is be a stay-at-home mom and have a big family.

What do you love most about your job?
I love that I get to come to work every day and smile! I love the environment and the job itself. I just love being here!

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work I enjoy shooting my bow, playing softball, watching movies and spending time with my friends, family, dog and Jesus!

What’s something surprising that not many people know about you?
I was in the Willy Wonka play done at JPAC last July as one of the grandparents!

When did you first know that you wanted to pursue a career in the car wash world?
The first summer I worked here. I was 15 and amazed that a car wash could be so interesting and that there was so much to learn about.
What do you think is the most important skill that you bring to the table?
I think the most important skill I bring is my outgoing personality. I love to talk to new people and grow relationships.
What’s the best trip you’ve ever been on and why?
The best trip I've been on would have to be when I went on a 10-day Disney World trip with my family. We got to do everything, and the weather was just perfect the whole time.

Where do you see yourself in five years?
In 5 years, I plan to be a manager at Mr. Splash and hopefully own my own house.
What are you looking forward to in your current role?
I'm looking forward to growing more as a person and learning more about how the car wash operates. I also look forward to seeing myself in a year or 3 years from now and how much I've learned.

What do you think our biggest challenges and opportunities are?
The biggest opportunities are being able to grow and move with the company. You can gain experience along with friendships but also have the opportunity to grow within the company.

If you could travel anywhere, where would you go and why?
I would love to go somewhere with lots of nature, with big mountains and just an overall beautiful scene, maybe Oregon area.
